Locketship is the brainchild of Maria Ewing-Estrada, and like the designer herself, puts a new spin on a classic. Unlike the original locket, which hid its contents, Locketship pendants share their feelings with the world. Be it a photograph, a collage, or 3D art, Locketship pendants project what you feel, protected and preserved in their entirety using an epoxy resin finish.
All Locketship jewelry is handmade by Maria and her husband Aaron in their Los Angeles home. High school sweethearts, the two married soon after graduation and began melding Maria’s creativity with Aaron’s handiwork. An alumnus of the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in LA, Maria graduated in 2004 in Product Development. Maria’s creativity drives the brand through her uncanny eye for design, from beautiful and delicate to funky and trendsetting. Aaron’s meticulous craftsmanship is seen throughout the finishing aspects of each product. Together, a classic is reborn: Locketship.

Each Locketship pendant is filled with resin. Its appearance is similar to glass. Since each creation is handmade, no two pieces are identical and may slightly vary from photographs.
Locket: noun. A closed pendant used to store photos or small items. Worn typically suspended from a chain or necklace.
